It's TUUBDAY Fashion Experiment

This week (3rd - 9th Nov) I have had the pleasure to be apart of the TUUB Official, Street Fashion Experiment with 8 other stunning women from around the world. Each day on Facebook  & Instagram, I have been showing differents way of  'How I can style a TUUB'. It is amazing how one item can be manipulated to create a selection of looks from Day to Night.

 What is a TUUB?

  • A TUUB is a sustainable multifunctional sustainable fashion garment designed and created by the lovely Kadri & Tui from Estonia. The inspiration for TUUB was from both of them wanting an item which could be useful for travelling light and be used in times of any emergency ( You know that time you forget that one item for an outfit)
  • It is made from recyclable Polyamide sourced from Italy. It is non transparent due to the use of double fabric which is great,  as you dont have to worry about wearing an additional slip or cover up.
  • The TUUB retails for £35 and is available in a range of colours. It is definitely worth the price for the fact that can be used in so many ways!
  • They ship Worldwide & the item is shipped in a recycled cardboard Tube package.
To find out more visit What is TUUB .

Check out the TUUB Facebook page & TUUB Instagram for more inspiration from all 8 of us women taking part and if you share an image by 10th November, you have the chance to win yourself a TUUB.

Fall Back, Sleep Longer!

Clocks go back Sunday 26th October at 2am... You get an extra hour in bed!!!!

Today officially marks the end of British Summer time which means it will get darker quicker because of the switch to daylight saving time. We will have longers days . Temperatures will begin to drop as Winter approaches, which calls for more cosy nights & lazy weekends (or in my case Hibernation)

The best start to any day is to have an invigorating or energising shower to get rid of that sleepy feeling & awaken the senses.  Radox have newly released  Invigorate shower gel to the bright citrus range collection which features Revive - Mandarin & Lemongrass, Uplifting - Pink Grapefruit & Basil and Energise - Key Lime & Peppermint. I was kindly sent 2 samples to try both Invigorate & Energise.

The Invigorate shower gel contains a combination of Zesty Lemon & Rosemary, it is the perfect fruity and refreshing fragrance to get me set up each day  , especially on Monday mornings with 9am lectures. Energise shower gel will leave you feeling rejunvenated each day with its blend of Key Lime & Peppermint , the scent reminds me of a mojito and will be great for the days I need a detox.

Both shower gels lather up well and leave a light scent on the skin which is not too overpowering. The packaging is bright and I love the easy grip handle which is great as I always prefer to hang my showergels.

The entire Citrus range is available nationwide at RRP £2.15 , currently Asda has it on offer for 90p.

What are you most looking forward to, now we are approaching Winter?

Blaze On Fairy Lights *

A few weeks ago, I received a set of Radiant Hearts White LED fairy lights from Blaze On
It was good timing as I had only moved into my university apartment recently and felt my room was missing that extra something to make it look more homely.

From when I opened the package, I could tell that Blaze On's top priorities was customer service as the packaging alone was so intrigently detailed . The lights came wrapped in handcrafted orange tissue paper accompanied with a Daisy flower scented candle , which I am saving as it's too pretty to burn . Once I unwrapped the tissue paper, my beautiful lights were revealed through the clear-view window which made me even more excited to try them out.

I got the warm white version to give my room a soft ambience which after a long, hard day at university is definitely needed. As I have to pay my own bill these lights are bright enough to use when I do not want to use the main lights especially when I catch-up on my U.S TV shows (American Horror Story).Originally I hung them on the pole fixture in my room but realised it would be better suited on my bed head as that is the main focal point of my room plus I could make full use of the light strings.

Although the price of these luxury Radiant Heart lights are £27.50 which is higher in comparison to other fairy lights on the market,  I would say, it is worth the investment as the quality is really amazing,  they have a lifespan of approximately 10 years ( Up to 100,000 hours) and they're energy efficient. According to Blaze On , the LED bulbs use 90% less energy which makes them very economical. One thing I found was that the lights never get hot despite if they have been on all night (Yes...one night I fell asleep without plugging them out..blame university) which is important as safety is key. Note: All Blaze on fairy lights come with a 1 year electronic guarantee and UK technical support.

By purchasing these lights , not only are you are able to instantly update your home/room decor but you are also helping support local communities in Thailand through Blaze On's ethical commitment of utilising fair trade and ethically sourced products, which is great.

Blaze on, offer a wide variety of  lights to suit all homes and even sell incense sets & candles too.  UK delivery is from as little as £1.95 but if you spend over £40, it is free.  Currently they have £2 off on all orders over £10 using discount voucher code FAIRY.

As Christmas is coming up soon, why not decorate your home or even provide someone with the gift of light. Don't forget to check out the Blaze On website and  Blaze On Facebook page for more pictures and inspiration of how to style fairy lights!

 Peace, Love & Besos

Picstick *

It is no secret that I LOVE to take pictures...just take a look at my Instagram and you will see my addiction!  It is rare that I print any of my pictures, normally I just keep them on my Facebook , phone or SD Card because I have an digital photo frame.
Recently, I was contacted by PicStick to review their photo magnets. The timing could not have been more perfect,  as I knew I would have some new family pictures from my recent holiday which would look to add to my university room decor.
The PicStick website, is so easy and simple to navigate. Using there tools, you are able to upload pictures from your device (computer, tablet, hard drive etc) or via Dropbox or Facebook (including from friends Facebook profiles) within minutes.
For £9.50, you get a grid of 9 great quality glossy finished photo magnets.  easily separated by tearing along the perforated edges . At only 50x65mm and 0.7mm thick, they are just the right size to stick onto any metal surface. Due to sharing a kitchen with my friend in the apartment,  I decided the best place was on the radiator in my room as that was the only metal item in my room.
I forgot to mention that it is FREE DELIVERY on all orders worldwide.  I received my pictures in less than 48 hours . The packaging was really sturdy, as the photo grid was free from any damages (folds, bends, scratches) on arrival , which was impressive as sometimes the postman is not always delicate with mail.

Fancy making your own personalised magnets or want to give a friend a personalised gift?

PicStick.com have provided me with 25% discount for all my lovely readers, just enter the code VEN25 at the checkout and the discount will be applied to your order.

Peace , Love & Besos

J'adore Michael Kors

I have been going on and on to my family about wanting to get a Micheal Kors bag, and finally I can say I absolutely adore the latest addition to my bag collection.

I decided to go for the Michael Michael Kors Selma Medium Messenger bag. I love the colour-block contrast of  Black and White giving the bag an elegant and clean finish. The good quality Saffiano leather will ensures that my bag is scratch-proof and waterproof.

Originally I was quite surprised at the size of the bag. On first look you would think that it won't hold a lot, but believe me looks are deceiving. I can fit a hell of a lot of things in this bag without it looking bulky.

The bag came beautifully packaged in a white satin dustbag which meant that as well as travelling in style, my bag successfully made the journey perfectly intact.

As a messenger bag there are no handles but just a long white leather detachable strap. I love the fact that it is adjustable as I have huge worries with straps as I am quite short. Another great thing about the detachable strap, is that once taken off the bag becomes a cute clutch bag. This will be ideal for holiday, as it makes a great neutral day and evening bag.

What do you think of the Michael Michael Kors Selma Messenger?

Hugs and Kisses

Ibiza Travel Diary

As you know from my previous blog posts, I visited the Belearic Island of Ibiza for 4 days , I tried to cram in as much as I could to get my money's worth. I was situated within the Southern part of Ibiza in Playa D'en Bossa which is the main destination for partying and is famously known for   Superclubs such as 'SPACE' , 'DC10' and 'Ushuaïa' .    Ibiza is known for it's amazing 'Sunsets' and I got my fair share of waking up in the morning to enjoy the picturesque view from my balcony. Thanks to booking with Voyage Prive , we stayed in the newly opened 5 star first European Hard Rock Hotel, they also threw in a free VIB band which provided us with a day's access to Rock Spa, I was able to relax, be pampered and feel rested from using the amazing pool with water circuits, Sauna, Steam Room, Hydrotherapy pool and heated sun loungers . Although I am a Shopaholic, I did not go overboard this holiday , in Duty Free I only purchased MAC 'Hug Me' lipstick and only brought 2 souvenirs from my visit to Es Cana Punta Arabi 'Hippy' market , it really was nice to see the colourful jewellery, handcrafted goods and souvenirs. I love going on holiday and seeing an Island's culture, so we took a trip to Ibiza Town to go sightseeing in Old Town where we saw old, narrow, cobbled streets and breathtaking views from the Castle. We also got to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe & .On our last day on the Island, I hit the well known 'Playa D'en Bossa' beach as I wanted to top up my tan before arriving back in the UK.  I enjoy visiting Ibiza, it was very beautiful;  I have already started to get the holiday blues...think it is time I book another holiday!

Are you planning on going away for some Winter Sun?

Peace & Love
