NYFW S/S 2014: Day 4 - Vivienne Tam

     Vivienne Tam's Ready-to-Wear collection is fun, flirty and colourful. This collection highlights the feminine silhouette, with its carefully placed prints and stripes. I love that bold colours, prints, monochrome and maxi dresses are here to stay for Spring/Summer 2014. Enjoy guys!!

NYFW S/S 2014: DAY 2 & 3 - Nicole Miller & Mara Hoffman

I am back again with a combination of the last 2 days from NYFW!

I must begin with the use of colour and florals by Nicole Miller Ready-to-Wear collection. The play on lines essentuate the female figure on the structured pieces  The collection is also very versatile; in fact the majority of the outfits that was showcased on the catwalk can be used from day to night. I have to say that my favourite piece is the white floral coat, as the sleek design and print just speaks for itself .

Mara Hoffman definitely gets a thumbs up with her Ready-to-Wear collection. The collection displays electric pops of bright colours while incorporating intricate ethnic prints. I again love the use of fun and flirty  fabrics that accentuate the feminine figure by hugging it in all the right places. So far this is my favourite collection, and I hope to make a purchase from Mara Hoffman in the future.

NYFW S/S 2014: Day 1 - Richard Chai Love & BCBGMAXAZRIA

It's that time of year guys, where everyone is glued to their screens or some of you lucky few are actually watching the catwalk shows; in anticipation for the upcoming trends.

I will be posting pictures from my favourite shows during these upcoming weeks.

The first is Richard Chai's Spring 2012 Ready-to Wear collection. Chai's use of delicate and flowing whites, combined with his aqua and sea green prints make a create a feminine and versatile look for SS 2014. I also love his use of geometric prints and stripes creating some much needed structure to some of his looks. Plus you can never go wrong with an all black ensemble perfect for any and every occasion, to give that effortless edge to an outfit.

Secondly is BCBGMAXAZRIA with their floral prints and soft sheer fabrics. Once again all white and pastel hues are the centre of attention. Perfect colour combinations to rock in those summer heats. I love the structured shapes that BCBGMAXAZRIA is showcasing.

LADIES!! it's time to get our stomach's into shape after winter as the crop tops are again featured in next year's S/S trend.
