Primark Satin Floral Platform Shoes

Despite being stuck in the middle of revising for five exams in May , I felt it was necessary to come off my blog hiatus this once and share my recent primark bargain, due to the influx of attention  , i've received after posting it on Instagram. ( 2000 + likes)

I picked up these Floral print satin platform sandals recently from the Sheffield Meadowhall store and it was love at first sight. They had a limited amount of stock (1 row to be exact) ,and only one pair in my size , which unfortunately had a minor stain .  After asking the store assistant if they had anymore, I was told i wasn't in luck. Although I was gutted, I decided not to wait for the following weeks batch of deliveries,  and instead requested a discount as I knew i could work on removing the stain myself . Luckily,  I was offered 10% off and knew it was fate to purchase before someone else snapped them up.

They are the ultimate accessory to add a touch of  feminity and statement to an outfit. They're very comfy and easy to walk in due to the chunky heel and platform. I love how these could be glammed up with an all white or black outfit to add subtle colour or toned down with a simple tee and jeans combo.

I think these could potentially even become my graduation shoes (provided i pass 3rd year). They retail for £14, but due to the 10% discount I paid £12.60.  If your Primark store is not lucky to stock these beautiful shoes , then ASOS have a similar pair in a darker print here .

Do you love the power flower trend & will you be wearing it this summer season?

What's in my Suitcase?

It is not unusual for me to over pack and be overweight (I’ve had many overweight charge dilemmas in the past). However I have got better this year due to sorting out the outfits I want to wear in piles before packing them. As I will be going away for 4 days, I will be using my M & S  Holdall for my luggage, because it is lighter than a suitcase meaning I am able to make full use of the 10kg weight limit allowance.
Clothes
White & Mint Playsuits - Playsuits are absolute wardrobe essentials; they're gorgeous, lightweight and easy to dress up or down.
Multicoloured Kimono – Can be used as a beach cover up or light jacket.
Sequined Multicoloured Paisley Maxi Kaftan – Although this is a beach item, I think it is way too pretty to only wear on the beach and would wear this for nice restaurant dinner.
Shorts – These are a must-have holiday essential and can be used both in daytime or night-time. I only own denim shorts so I am taking my high-waisted dark blue shorts and a light wash blue pair to wear for different looks.
Selection of tops – I tend to wear plain coloured tops nowadays as they are easily wearable to match other items but I did pack an Aztec print vest top, yellow cami top, white halter cami, Black Silk halter neck and white crop top. Knowing me I will throw in a few extra before the holiday!
Nautical Striped Maxi Skirt - can be worn in the day or evening and easily worn with a variety of tops.  Black/Green Faux Silk Joggers – These are great comfortable trousers, which can be dressed up or down.

Finally most importantly is underwear whilst on holiday, although I only have 2 pictured, the rest will be packed later on, But I like to take mainly black sets and seamless bottoms. Along with a pair of 10 denier tights & a pair of socks especially for on the way back to UK.
Beachwear
I own about 14 variations of swimwear but I have managed to select just 5 items from my collection. I doubt I will use them all but I prefer to have a fresh bikini / swimsuit everyday as it saves me doing any washing on holiday.
Halterneck Embroided Gem Swimsuit|Multicoloured Diamond Swimsuit|Floral Bird Halterneck bikini|Nautical Striped bikini| Neon block coloured bikini
Bikini waterproof bag – Perfect for storing wet swimwear but could be doubled up as an additional clutch.  Beach towel – I like to use my own towel at the beach as it is the right size and I can distinguish my towel from the rest on the poolside/at the beach.  I also take a big floppy hat to protect my eyes from the Sunrays and prevent heatstroke.
Accessories
Blogger Programme tote bag – Great as a beach bag or if I go exploring on an excursion.
Jewellery – As it can weigh, I will only taking my Gold Body Chain which is great worn with swimwear, my pink robed and gold necklace and my Blue statement necklace.
Limited Edition Primark Gold Clutch – Black is a neutral colour so it will match any outfit plus the gold hardware makes it look expensive. Black faux croc & leopard pony waist belts – Again black belt will match any outfit but the leopard belt will instantly update an outfit to look fierce.
Shoes
Nude Patent Pointed Heels – I always struggle when picking out the perfect heels for holiday as it is no point packing a lot as you never wear them all, so I am taking my Nude pair as they are smart,  dressy and a neutral colour. Black Jelly Heart Flip Flops – They’re great for the beach especially when you are required to wash off sand because they are waterproof & won’t go mouldy.
I will also take my Black Faux Snakeskin Pumps which will be worn on the day I fly out as they are comfy and perfect to travelling.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my full breakdown list of items I will be taking to Ibiza. I will  be doing an Ibiza travel diary after my holiday.

Are you going away for some last minute Sun before Winter arrives?

Floral Bloom

I don't normally blog about shoes, but I felt I needed to give these heels an additional platform to shine!

Primark as you know is definitely one of my favourite stores for picking up some real hidden beauties, if you search high and low through the store. On Mothers day, I went to Primark Westfield,Stratford store to pick up a cami and came out with these beautiful floral court heels which I decided to wear to dinner at 'Lanes of London' that same day.

They are pocket friendly at only £12, which compared to the £120 Ted Baker Luceey Shoes is an absolute bargain. The floral print is stunningly beautiful and the intense multitude of colour is perfect for spring/summer.

I was able to wear these pointed toe shoes all evening as they were really comfy.  I decided to pair the shoes with a monochrome outfit and I loved the way the pop of colour lifted the sophiscated look! (excuse the mobile pic, I did not have time to take a picture with my actual camera on the day)

Timeless Round Toe Court Shoes Review *

A while ago Barratts contacted us to do a review on a pair of shoes of our choice.

I remember the days of always going to Barratts to get school shoes and having my feet measured to find the perfect fit. I have to admit that since the likes of Primark, New Look and H&M I have neglected Barratts. However, they still have a very modern and wide selection of shoes to choose from.

We were given a limit of £40 to spend on our choice of shoes. I chose these gorgeous green round toe concealed platform court shoes.

The suede material is very soft to the touch, as well as the colour being pleasing to the eye. Since I'm at work most of the week I wanted something that could go from day to night. These are perfect, because they have extra concealed padding in the sole of the shoes, which helps your feet last all day and night. I got these in a size 5, but I was pleasantly surprised at the fit because I have 5 1/2 sized feet and these fit really well. Which means that Barratts are very generous with their sizing, because not many shops sell half sizes.

They came neatly packaged in their signature Barratts shoe box with tissue paper to prevent them being damaged. However, with the shoes being suede I would have preferred to have shoe bags accompanied in the box so I could transport them without fear of scratching the material.

I recently wore them all day to my induction training for work, and they were very comfortable. I even ran for the train in them and they were fine.

Another thing to point out is their pricing. These shoes were under £20 in the sale *I can't remember the exact figure*. For great quality shoes I would say that they are very cost effective, if you want high quality shoes to last.

One slight negative is that these shoes  do not come with spare heels for when my shoes need re-heeling. Most of the heels I buy do come with spare heels. However, it could be because of their confidence in the strength and endurance of their heels.

Make sure you check out Barratts shoes, they have a great selection of sizes and styles for all occasions.

Primark Autumn Shoe Collection!!!!

Hi Belles!!!!

I know I have not posted in what seems to be forever. My terrible excuse is that since working 9-5 everyday I have turned into a granny. *all I want to do is hibernate in my room with food lol*

Anyway back to business. Have you seen the heels on offer at Primark?? I have to say, season after season Primark seem to be outdoing themselves. They have really upped their game since the early days.

These heels are not only right on trend, but also reasonably priced ranging from £12 - £25 *GASP*. I know...I know your gasping right now. However, the quality does seem to improve with the increase of the price, so I'll let Primark off this time lol.

These beauties below are by far my favourite. I love the fact that most of them can be used in the day for that chic work outfit; and also take you right on into the night with a cute LBD for drinks, or unleash your wild side with the leopard print or studs.

Everything5pounds mini haul

Belles,

Not sure if you are aware of the online website that goes by the name of "Everything5pounds", if you haven't then where have you been?!

Basically it is a website that has women's clothing, shoes, accessories & more, all priced at , yes you guess it £5. It's amazing but more importantly its the shoes that always catch my eye and the other day when I previewed there new arrivals I knew I had to be a earlybird to catch the amazing deals.

So after patiently refreshing their new arrivals page, I managed to beat through the online crowd within the first 5 minutes of the new arrivals being uploaded and purchased the following:

Chelsea style boots

Platform wedged heels with ankle strap

Gold capped faux suede boots

I haven't worn out the chelsea boots or the wedges yet but the gold capped boots are a showstopper. I was in Meadowhall on a date with my sister and everyone was looking at them and even two men stopped to say my boots were "very nice"!!!!

Seriously, join there facebook page here to be in the know of there latest arrivals so you can purchase a fantastic pair of on trend shoes for only a fiver.

Peace, Love & Besos
